I like the "new" used wheels you got, but agree a anthracite/gunmetal color would be awesome.

Either way, great looking car.
Thanks y'all.

When we get self driving cars it will be another kind of shite show. But still a shite show.

Did some duct cleaning work on my house when i got home with my younger kid. the vent for the drier is now efficient again.

unboxed my bicycle #2 and noticed wat a difference in quality vs my bike #1 which is over 3x the price. the one i got today looks soooo cheesy. lol but it’s okay though. going to mod it down the road with better bits. took it out for a test drive. i like it. nice and comfy.

now relaxing..

got a few more bicycle bits coming in the next few days. nothing big planned at the moment. going to enjoy the quiet commute to work this am.

one thing i noticed on my new bicycle is that it has a lot of spruces (?) injection vent stubs on the tires. reminded me of junk pirelli tires. lol

going to trim that off with a precision wire cutter looking tool tonight.

Yeah, I always have to cut those off of new tires. I'm also not a fan of all of the color inks they like to put all over car tires.

alright, last night got home, did a few house chores and work on my bicycle#2. cut all the stubs on the tires that were away from the contact patch. took a while since there were so many.. looked like a frikken uni (sea urchin).. also registered the bike with the manufacturer to get free 10yr warranty on the frame.. wow, like a hyundai/kia. lol

nnnn.. looks like it rained all night last night. oh well. roads are still wet and too lazy to wash my cars so will pass on motoring my R this am. but, going ride my bicycles today. puddles, wet roads, no problem! need the exercise anyway.

have a good saturday everyone!

decided to swap the cabin filter on the GTI before working on my bicycle this am. then installed a new phone mount and hand pump on bike#2, took it out for a quick spin around the park to ensure the thing was positioned correctly, then took bike#1 for a nice 1hr ride. had a good time.

this is really good. fun + exercise + cheap as hell vs a real road bike, let alone a real car. lol

another wet morning. will be pulling out my bike for some cycling fun this am after finishing laundry.

not much planned for today, going to relax in my music room, will check out bike storage racks for the garage (want to make room for one more bicycle that is currently on sale at Tern) and do some online window car shopping.

have a good sunday everyone!

it stopped raining this pm so took out my slower bicycle for a 45min ride. had a good time, QD'ed both my bicycles and applied a coat of Hydro to protect the finish with its polymer.

mang this is by far one of the best purchases i did this year. i luv it.
dry weekend = motor fun cars
wet weekend = ride fun bicycles

haha didnt do anything car related today other than dressing the S04's on my GTI to prevent blooming.

Wekfest was a LONG day.

But after the show opened to the public I just wandered around Chicago with a friend. Neither of us really knew the area so we did the touristy stuff of visiting the bean, he wanted to stop & by some clothes, but we also went to the museum of contemporary photography & wandered around looking at new murals on buildings. Was fun.

That was a FAT run-on sentence. How was everyone's weekend?
