Exactly. Lots of cool SI features...but I'll take the functionality of the hatch.

Also probably sound logic why there isn't a SI Hatch...theres the CTR...Oh well. I'm thoroughly enjoying my non-SI/non-CTR.

IMO, you have the best looking and most usable model of the current Civic.

Looking forward to the Ktuner review!

Yeah, I like grandpa cars that outperform their looks. Always been into sleepers. Early in my automotive journey I had an '89 and then '93 Taurus SHO. Loved that I could enjoy my drive without others really knowing what they were capable of. Modded they were downright funny.

I think you like the GTI and R for the same reason...right? Fly under the radar.

i will definitely check out da csi again, but i’m pretty sure i’m going with da WRX after reading da cobb AP improvements over stock.

it’s just a better car mang. power, headlights, interior (), etc. yah 10k difference who cares.

I'd hope a 30k car is 'better' than a 23k car.

Maybe throw a BRZ into the test drive mix if a 2-door works?

I bet it's by far the most fun to drive of the bunch.

2-Seater's are out for me or I'd have to check one out.

Ah...good to know.

I think a lot of the low power "drivers" cars get great reviews from the press, but I'm not much into them.

Funny thing I've noticed is that most of the people that recommend them don't own them either. They espouse the virtues of slow car going fast while owning 911's and M3's.

right. might be fun to drive on occasion on a track, but would be super annoying if driven on a daily basis getting raped by camrys..

alright, made it home, day went by in a flash.

so my guy at subaru is checking wat he can do on da pricing for the wrx limited. he already knowz wat id pay but the trade-in portion is a little tricky. cause he can take my offer, but may not take da trade so high.. in dis case id have to go to carmax to sell da GTI then stinky back to da subaru dealer.. maybe ill get lucky and dat russian girl in her pos odyssey can pick me up again.

of course dere is a honda dealership within walking distance from carmax.. ill let my guy sweat a little.

Forgot to post this pic after our visit last weekend. If we don't end up with a CTR, it won't be due to it's looks. I like it. Wife loved it. Over the top? Absolutely!

It would certainly liven this house. A black Golf, silver Fit, pearl white Lincoln, and baby blue stock looking fox body Mustang are here now. All look bland. The mustang made 532whp, but it looks tame. Lincoln is definition of grandpa.

I've never owned anything flashy. I think you have better experience with what that's like. I'm not an attention kind of guy so maybe it would get old. Not sure.

About the only decision I've made is I like the blue.

but i donno mang, i can see u with a flashy blue like dis and never get old cause its not over da top and older folks drive it and its cool. kinda like MINI's.. has character, not da cheap kind.

https://cdn.bringatrailer.com/wp-con...-6-940x705.jpg

flashy.. when i was younger i use to perform live music shows at schools and other events doing solo performances along with copyband performances, original music performances with the high school dance groups and stuff and it was A LOT of attention i got. i have bragging rights to say i had pretty girls following me around all da time. it was fun and absolutely great. but after a while it just got old and i grew out of it.

luv my STI though with its big arse wing. not for attention, just the balance in shape. and my Golf-R with her pretty little comical figure. polar opposites.

da dark blue wrx with its little rear wing should be stealthy enough for me. dat lapis blue is so nice in the sun + dark wheels. very nice.
