most people without training wouldve brought out compressed air and toilet plunger right? lol i see dat shit and im like wtf..

half day at da office again today. not too much car action besides the commute today. since i’m going to be taking da car to the tint shop early next week, no carwash over da weekend. will do dat after install. will get gas on da way home if not raining.

tomorrow and sunday going to pull out my Golf-R.

have a nice friday and weekend everyone!

Listening to a pod cast with a Car & Driver tester...

Mike, you'll love this one. In this years test, the Accord Sport is faster around a race track than the Miata.

Too funny! Man, I've always wanted to like Miata's, but I'm just not a low power guy. At the end of the day, you can only do so much with that little power. Great for people who like driving a slow car fast, but that shows just HOW SLOW a Miata is when even an Accord is faster around a race track.

Edited to add - that was with the new "more powerful" Miata.

Professional race car driver in a MT Miata. We'll have to wait for the article to come out, but I'm sure it was a top spec model. It's for the big end of year test. 20 cars included in the test.

Edit...all testing was done at VIR.

so got off work early, rain just stopped as i walked out of the office. gas on da way home, did a few house chores, dressed the tires on da WRX, ate icecream and fell asleep while watching some youtube vids. lol

my WRX can use some cleaning on the side sills and lower panels.. thinking about heading outside to do just a spot waterless wash on the kickup areas.

dats too bad for miata fans. getting raped by a car only middle aged folks who gave up on life drives.

but at least the accord can be had in a MT.

alright, did a quick waterless wash on my WRX.. 15-20min tops while teaching my older kid how to use the product.

good stuff. can be had from amazon or maybe even ur local autoparts store. use ample product and 5-6 super plush MF towels fosho though.
and never in da sun. ONLY in da shade.

so while out motoring this am, i noticed that the leaves were already changing color in the forest. dang.. snow in no time. which reminded me, need to do the brake fluid change in the GK this fall.. probably swap to snows kinda early as i want to use up these tires and all the maintenance stuff before i swap cars hopefully next year.

I've been so lazy that I'm still running the all seasons on our Fit. Need to get the 16" summers on the Fit and go for a drive.

No need for snow tires here, but I like having all seasons for the colder months.

Been truck shopping. Trying to figure out if I want to trade in the Lincoln for a nice truck, sell the Mustang and buy a Lightning, or just get something older and add one to the fleet. The plus one idea sounds good on paper, but I'm running out of space and don't really want to insure another vehicle.

yah, i only run the factory tires on the GK during the warmer months as well. i mean its not the greatest tire but it serves the GK well. plus it has one yokohama tire from the flat it had earlier dis yr. lol haha

truck shopping sounds like fun! i take it ure looking at f150's? mang it is CRAZY how many they sell per month.. like near 80K units (20x more than GK sales per month..! lol) and if it wasnt for dat factory accident at their supplier probably selling moar.

my buddy at work asked me 'if i could have any car id want ..' and i stopped him and said i need more parking space first. lol reality sucks mang. first world problems but it sucks.
