The Dyno place doesn't answer their phone. Well...they answer and then hang up.

I just got off the phone with the tuner and he's going to try to schedule it for me. I want to get that baseline before I do anything else at all.

As for brakes, I'm not quite ready. Need pads and the parking brake cable adapter. Oh, also need to get fluid. Not looking forward to cutting and reflaring the brake lines to fit the Accord master cylinder, but...whatcha' going to do?

Oh man I recall cutting and reflaring brake lines on my S14 when I did the 300zx master cylinder and big brake upgrade. That was no fun...but made for a cleaner install.

Sucks about the Dyno shop. Hope you get that figured out.

We got some rain today and yesterday and loving the fact that the water just beads off thanks to the somewhat fresh wax.

Flaring brake lines, one of life's not so fun jobs, but sometimes one has no choice.

One of life's happy moments watching rain bead up on freshly waxed paint. :-)

Wonder how long or if Ken will come back from the land of the banished???

Dyno is tentatively scheduled for Monday afternoon. He's trying to line up others to do at the same time. We'll see. Tuesday I'm gone all day for an out of state sales meeting so I can't do it that day.

Stock steering wheel back on for now so that I can jump in it and go if I get the "dyno" call.

Heading down to put the stock tune back in it for total stock dyno readings. Taking bets...my guess is 88 whp. Anyone else want to take a guess?

Nice! I was hoping you'd break 100. Is that a baseline before mods? Or is that after mods? Still pretty nice for a GD!

Back to the grind....was off yesterday due to the ever necessary "Columbus Day" lol. Thanks US Govt.

Washed the cars this weekend...also painted/stained (2) patio chairs I built that have just been taking up garage space. Now to find/buy cushions for them.

No rest for me! I'm back from a day of 4 1/2 hour drive, 4 hour sales meeting, followed by a 4 1/2 hour drive.

The Fit was in it's 2008 trim...
HPF axle back
K&N drop in panel filter
Denso IK22 plugs

In other words...stock. I attribute it's "high" dyno to a healthy and long diet of full synthetic oil and premium fuel. I think my dyno was darn near 10whp above normal stock numbers. Dyno operator said it was the highest N/A Fit dyno he could remember including ones that were bolt on with tune cars. The last Fit in their system made 132whp with a Greddy turbo kit, full exhaust, Hondata, etc. so I don't think their dyno reads overly high, but who knows.

Arm rest

A while back I might have read about a “better” after market arm rest??
Is that possible? I’d imagine it would be wider
I’d be interested in getting it if it exists

For what generation Fit MontrealFit? Based on your screen name I'm gonna say GE?

If so, the OEM Arm rest/center console was pretty awesome when I had my GE.
