Yeah that generation 328i is NA and fairly reliable. It was the 335 turbo that had some issues. Still, I dont like it for a DD for the GF....maybe a 3rd car for 'fun' and when she has to show/meet clients.

I need to set time aside to get her better at driving the civic/manual. So she can drive the civic if needed.

Snow up in your parts guys?

Its a crisp mid 60s all week.

yah we got some snow over the weekend but no issue here either. GK did well, WRX has been awesome.

thinking about maybe getting an accessport for my Golf-R next season.
also going to start using the handheld in my STI to monitor the gauges i thinks. primary for oil temp and to see if it’s pulling timing.

Any of you guys got some Black Friday 'must haves' you're buying?

I feel like I've spent more than I should've haha. New Asus PG279Q PC Gaming monitor, PS4 Pro with several games, trip to Philly, new oversized loveseat/couch for our den, Samsung Evo 970 SSD for my PC...still keeping an eye out for a toolbox but likely waiting for Milwaukee to release their new ones around X-mas.

We need to have the driveway re-done. It's gravel and heavily eroded and settling. First quote came in at $5,500. That's going to be our gift to each other. Oh, the joys of being an adult.

We'll get stuff for the boy though. Picked him up a video game and a few toys so far. What he has asked for is a 3D printer. Anyone have any suggestions for a decent, but not too expensive 3D printer for an 8 year old?

I can see him printing toys and me making car stuff.

Ouch...driveway is a nice chunk of change. Yeah the GF and I have done that where "well X and Y are 'our' gifts to eachother". Mainly house related things haha.

As for 3d printers I've only used MakerBot and the high end stuff I have access to here at work and while i was in school.

Ultimately the extruder size, bed/table size, tolerance of motors are doing to be cost driving factors. That davinci nano is actually pretty appealing to me. Only complaint is having to use their filament.

I have one day of work left.

Then hitting a Bucks game with my brother. Should be a super fun matchup, Bucks v. Trailblazers two of the best teams in the NBA and both play a very aesthetically pleasing style of basketball.

wife came home, checked the psi on all 4 tires... they checked out okay. wtf mang... useless.

speaking of useless, have u guys tried contacting amazon for fak-ups they did? the chat is faking useless. it sends u automated text for preset questions u have like i placed an order over a week ago on 2 day prime, i still havent received it so i started a chat to tell them to hurry it up.

amazon's auto chat replies its shipping soon for 2 day on-time delivery for friday (although over a week late). the only reply u can make are PRESET replies.. like i want it sooner or cancel my order.. i hit 'i want it sooner' and their reply is 'shipping soon for 2 day on-time delivery friday'. .. or i can cancel the order. wtf mang.

Their customer service has been dropping off for years.

I don't use Amazon for anything other than keeping a list of books to buy from my local bookstore. My hatred for Jeff Bezos & his taking advantage of/ruining cities blocks me from spending with his businesses haha

I need to get to your mindset. I'm still an Amazon customer, but there are very good reasons to not be.

My moral grandstanding knows no bounds haha

I'm working very hard to buy less stuff online, essentially unless I just cannot buy it in person I don't buy it online. Now that I can walk to any store its just one more way for me to support local small businesses & save on some packaging/transport waste.
