so i drove over 80 miles from da airport but da fuel gauge still showed full so added fuel to see if it waz true before finding out da hard way tomorrow am. which would suck if i ran out of gas cause id miss my flight and opportunity to install da stage1+ tomorrow pm.

alright grabbing a flight home dis am, going to work on da WRX dis pm. yah kinda excited.

in my case more excited to finish da project to get it past me so dat i can concentrate on other things. lol
i do hope it improves the throttle response which has been da sour and sore note since da initial test drive.
linear is wat i want.

have a good thursday everyone!

alright my WRX is now stage1+ did a waterless wash after a quick test drive. car drives completely differently now. at 95F today couldnt really tell how much more power it was making but output was a lot more linear as expected so im happy with it. nothing spectacularly fast, my Golf-R is night and day faster..

but considering its just my dd, i like it. should make for a fun commute.

yah at 70F the am, my WRX is definitely faster now. i don’t think it being faster dan a stock STI is a lie.
the throttle is linear pretty much to redline which makes it weird to drive now dat i’ve gotten use to dat odd subaru map. lol

have a good friday and weekend everyone!

OT, but pls mang, if taking a dump please flush while u go. no sense saving it for a later flush while stinking up da whole place

no treehugger, its air pollution so multiple flushing is okay. lol

That's a huge waste of water. They're bathrooms, not coffee shops for hanging out in

da drive home in my WRX was fun. but after stopping by at ups to drop off a couple of boxes, i start the car and it sputtered for like 3sec before turning over. had the same issue twice (out of many starts) on the aem intake too. i think i need to prime the fuel before i start da car. will see if dat helps. basically hit the start button twice, count to 3 before clutch-in and hit push-start again.

motored my STI, had a blast as always. yah, my STI is night and day sportier dan my WRX. i still like the engine in my STI over the one in my WRX too. hell of a lot more responsive and linear, plenty fast for street. the cusco brake cylinder brace made a nice improvement on the braking feedback as everyone states. braking feels even more solid now. very good. very happy. lots of win this week.

i think i will do one on my WRX along with the stb down the road as well.

alright headed to lunch with my wife to our usual place and had a good time and good food. full tank of gas in da GK after lunch and also got a gas station auto wash as well. its clean enough.

headed out for another round of errands in my WRX and met up with a couple of my local buddies with my kids. talked cars a little and headed home. now dat my WRX is finished for the time being, proceeded to work on plumbing repairs on da hauz. dogdamn i hate working on plumbing. need to fix a toilet gasket too soon.

anyway waz a busy day and looking forward to pulling out my Golf-R tomorrow am.

motored the Golf-R this am, had a relaxing and real enjoyable time. stopped to take snaps as well.

got home spot QD'ed the car, brushed up on a few areas on the clearbra and cleaned the interior. while organizing the garage, amazon dropped off the black mcguard installation kit for my WRX. going to swap out the lugs when its time for the Prodrives. never liked running nickel plated lugs (stock) on dark wheels. this installation kit comes with 16 black (two piece) spline drive lugs with 4 black locks. very nice system.

also verified that i have a 1L bottle of dot3/4 for the GK.

this week the only thing im going to be working on is the cusco brake cylinder brace on the WRX.
