motored my WRX home got gas along da way. $45+ fill vs $20 on da GK. lol

the drive itself was uneventful for a change and i welcome dat. i encounter way too many dumbarses during my daily commute, mainly people looking at their phones while driving and not paying attention to the light ahead. had a fun time.. also many people give me thumbs up its weird. i work in a pretty populated area so lots of pedestrians and random tourists. i think its the exhaust note and turbo sounds they like.

taking it easy tonight. headache's gone just got done doing some house chores and now relaxing in my music room.

Still working on the steering wheel install here. I have to be the only person on the planet that can take a week to install a steering wheel. Between soldering connections, shrink wrapping, ordering the right parts, getting the right bolts, etc...it's hilarious. In my younger days I would have had the steering wheel on in an hour. Now I don't care how long it takes as long as it's perfect.

The 2" spacer has a lip on it that is supposed to fit inside the adapter....except it doesn't. Wife is taking it to work tomorrow so she can mill off the lip. Good to have a wife that has access to machine shop equipment and knows how to use them.

Fastenal is supposed to have my stainless fasteners in on Wednesday. I'm glad to have a fastener shop here in my little town.

oh yah wife called from the GK asking if i could go pickup my kids at a cross country event since she was still 20min out. the event was cut short due to heavy rain in the middle of the race. asked if da kids were all dirty and wet from running in the grass and mud. she said yes.

so i said let dem wait for the GK to arrive.. lol

not picking dem up in my WRX mang.. dey can wait the faking 20min. would take me an hour or longer just to clean up my spotless interior. lol

speaking of faktards, they were back this am. some dumbarse in a GE thought it was smart to stop in the middle of a 50mph highway to jump a car in the next lane. lol so many cars nearly collided including me cause it was right at a merge wtf. i know some of u aren’t very bright, but just pull off to the side of the road, turn ur faking car 180 and jump the car completely off and out of the lanes. so stupid.

while blaring my horn at the dumbarse in da GE, realized i should get some hella supertones.

have a good wednesday everyone!

Hope the rest of your day is smoother than this morning!

I, for one, think some sort of remote water balloon launcher should be installed in all vehicles. Then again, I would run out of water balloons within the first five minutes of driving...

Wow! That brings back memories! My Dad bought that exact model and year brand new. Only difference was he had the burgundy color. Kind of a dark metallic red. It was the first car I ever "drove." Well, I was steering while sitting in his lap. He'd also let me shift from the passenger seat.

My Mom at the time had a silver '79 Prelude. I later had an '80 Prelude. We then switched to Toyota and then to Ford. My Parents have come full circle and both drive Honda's again. Fit and CR-V.
