love the WRX mang. absolutely no wheel spin driving pretty quick on wet roads with snow flurries tonight. good headlight illumination too. glad to be back home and away from maxima. lol

although i have to say the cvt on the maxima was actually pretty damn good. it almost 'felt right' with artificial shift shock. with the low end torque from its v6 it was easy to zip through traffic in full AT mode. now if they can make a small AWD performance machine for $40K.. none of that nismo-370z garbage.

Those weds are pretty slick. Should clean up nicely.

He has Work CR-Kiwami's Bronze, 18x9.5 +35 lowered on BC Racing coils with swift spring upgrade. Only pic I could find easily.

Yeah when he rolled up to work I was like

I couldn't roll up with the same wheel combo lol.

Just know they are Cast and not flow-formed or anything so there are lighter options but for the right price I could care less. Definitely get non-red lug nuts though.

yah if they look nice and relatively light weight it’s fine for dd purpose for me too. i wouldnt run such on my fun cars though.

my Golf-R car cover ordeal sound like tesla’s car delivery nightmare people are suffering on their Model3. . lol
$70k for a Model3.. that is such bs mang. was supposed to be $40k range.

There isn't anything wrong with Cast wheels. Just when I was looking I was trying to get lightest possible and thats flow-formed for my budget. Considering this is 99.9% a DD...Cast is a perfectly viable option.

Yeah I dont understand the delivery ifasco where cars are stuck at train yards and what not.

But I do understand the whole price point issue...doesnt mean I like it as a consumer...but I get it from a business stand point. With that said....I can count at least a dozen of those Model 3's at my work. So they are being bought.

Happy Friday!

for those thinking about leasing a car, do it soon cause interest rate is going up up up! and projected resale value is going down so ure going to be in a tight spot.

but it if u buy cash like me take ur dandy time. lol. unless u want euro.. tax might come soon.

Yeah definitely in that phase of looking for a car for the GF...no way it'll be a lease due to the number of miles she does as a Realtor.

Still trying to wrap my head around buying my aunts BMW 328i hardtop. Low mileage. Just cant wrap my head about reliability.

yah lease cars and their mileage caps are painful. well i guess for someone like me who drives rental cars almost every week, might be okay. lol.

was the 328’s gen known for reliability issues? euro cars are such hit or miss..!

hummmm.. yah, looks like im going to be pulling out the GK to run errands this am.. no sense running my WRX risking getting hit by boneheads who cant drive in the sleet.

one of the stops is i need to drop off fedex to return that wrong car cover the store sent me.. i checked the packing list and its definitely for the Golf-R.. but the wrong generation. it might fit okay, but the previous gen R's were 2 door i think so dont want to get dirt on it while test fitting and not be able to return for a full refund if it dont fit. timing wouldve been perfect though if i got the right one this week. ud think VW would ship the right one after 2 tries. *facepalm*

no other plans today, might play with my RC a little bit to make sure things are still running. haven't turn them on in over a year.

have a good saturday everyone!

got a lot done yesterday, GK did well in the snow and carrying back a large load from the super market.

so i stopped by Target yesterday thinking i can pick up a spare ice scraper for our cars my kid can use and noticed they changed the store layout quite a bit. not only that, it looked nicer than before, but horrible selection!

i mean they widen their category of stuff they sell, but within the category hardly any variation to choose from.. so it minded me of an office supply store aka Staples, etc. bound to fail. and they tightened down their auto supply section even further.. they did not have any ice scrapers in the middle of winter in a snow belt state. WTF. lol

stopped by my local autoparts store while heading out to lunch with the wife. got a nice scraper with handle that extends. pretty cool.
