If I were picking between the two, I'd go with the STI. It's that type of car while the R is just too good at being discrete speed. Plus the boxer sounds wild with exhaust.

I'd opt for hp mods for the R and visual/sound mods for the STI.

adjusted psi on my STI and R tires this am... my tire gauge valve tip broke.. wtf mang. the spring action to hold the tube to valve stem broke so i just punched the hinge pin out with a nail and removed the holder part completely. not like i was using that thing anyway. hope the gauge works for another decade. lol its been my trusty digital tire gauge.

looks like weather held up this am so will be pulling out my STI for some motoring fun.
then clean her up from salt dust the best i can (temp outside in da teens this am), do a few house chores and will try out that new generator today.

besides that, will finish the drainage repair i’ve been working on the last week and hope it don’t leak no more. lol
and just relax the rest of day playing tunes and streaming a few shows..

have a great sunday everyone!

alright motored my STI this am had a blast. the window visors i installed last week worked well to stop the loud air turbulence when the glass is cracked open at high speeds so im happy. might get a set for my WRX too when it gets warmer.

while i was motoring down the hwy minding my own biz, some older guy about my age in a CTR and a S4 drove next to me and we were going like 2-3mph over the speed limit. then some faking kid in a low powered hyundai or kia or watever the hell it was did a ric0r vacuum cleaner flyby down the road while my V1 was telling me a cop with a standard ka-band was coming up over the hill. im like lol and sure enough, the loser got pulled over. the guy in the CTR and i smiled and all 3 of us continued on cruising down the hwy at the same speed as if nothing happened.

speaking of hondas, wife and i tried out my new honda generator. we hooked everything up as how we would run it during a power outage.. mainly the deep freezer and my wife's servers all connected, other smaller appliances, wifi routers, etc. no issue, the honda sounded smooth as butter, and was quiet too. like significantly quieter than a lawn mower in idle. installed the anti-theft bracket, thick security cable, etc all in all $1200-1300 with all accessories. super cheap insurance, plus portable.

going to run it every spring and fall to lube everything and keep cycling the gas.

dayam.. didn’t realize the day was already half over. time flies

anyway got tracking number for some 1/4” width VHB to use on my Golf-R’s new window visors. will do the install later in the week as temps are suppose to be in the high 30F’s by the weekend which will mean my garage will be in the near 50F range. easier to heat up the door frame before adhering the tape.

have a good monday everyone!

With as many complaints as there are about this, it wouldn't have been "unreasonable" of me to have just issued a temporary ban without warning. But I'm allowing you the opportunity to show that you're both reasonable and mature. Harassment isn't permitted.

Enjoy your stay.

Nothing I have posted is unreasonable or immature. I'll PM you to discuss further.

I didn't post here in defense of you. Just reminding of the acceptable behavior here on the forum.
