I'll fit right in (sorry)

Only my second post and already with the puns. I expect I'll be taking delivery of an 08 Sport sometime in the next ten days. 5 speeds are apparently few and far in between in BOM here on the east coast, so I will probably get either an SSM or TW instead. I already have my dash kit and dead pedal waiting to be installed, and Xenith Xenons can be expecting to hear from me in the very near future. You all have a very healthy community here, I look forward to visiting too often.

Its in the 08 brochure, I don't guess that has to mean anything. Especially given that the BOM is in the brochure too.

Hey! Yeah! Another Fit Freak from the hills of WV - there are only two of us and now there are three - we have enough for a meet!

Good to have you on the forum - I was told the BOM was nearly impossible to get on the east coast too! That is why I decided on the VBP but don't ask me how I ended up with a MR!

Anyway, good to have you on the forum neighbor - sounds like you are off to a great start with your mods. Post up some pictures when you get your car and let us see it. Our local Honda dealership here in South Charleston has zero Fits on the lot - getting harder to find since the gas keeps going up.

Yes, I did mean Tidewater, my bad. White would never work for me, I'm too anal about keeping the car clean. The hell of it is I keep seeing BOM cars around NOVA where I work, its making me crazy Hell yeah we should have a WV meet, we could meet in the middle of the state which would be a ten hour drive for everyone! LOL I'm in the eastern panhandle right next to Charles Town. And about ten miles from Summit Point Motorsports Park

Have you taken any of your previous rides to Summit for the weekend classes and track runs? My cousin has a Honda S 2000 and I have been trying to talk him into going with me for the weekend to take the classes and be able to run the track. Sounds like a really nice track. Do you have many Fits where you are? There are three MR Fits in my town one owned by an elderly man and woman! I don't thnk they would be interested in a meet - but you never know - heck I am 52 and still sticking Mugen parts on my Fit- LOL!

Sadly no, I have yet to take a car to Summit Point for FATT (Friday at the track) they have SCCA and NASA classes there regularly as well. Something about a full time job and a four year old getting in the way of my early retirement.....LOL There are quite a few Fits in the Northern VA area but literally none in the panhandle of WV. Most everybody up here got suckered into buying the Prius instead. Summit Point is a beautiful facility, the Jefferson Loop in particular looks like too much fun. There is a local outfit that rents Spec Miatas for the day to out-of towners as well. Maybe a WV road-trip with Summit Point as the northern leg and Tail of the Dragon on the south end?
