Back To The Future
I've been away from Honda brand for a while ('had a 1990 MT Civic w/253k), but I'm happy to be back with my new 2017 MT Fit EX. I copped her mid-December 2017. I luv Yukinko and often wonder why I waited so long to return. Better late than never.

'Wanted to capture the time of year, the fact we had our first measurable snow the day purchased in a "cute" and/or feminine name. Yuki = Snow, Ko = Child + I wanted the name to be something a Japanese person or someone into Japanese folklore could/would recognize. 'Could have gone the simpler route and just picked a feminine name with "yuki" in it, but... I dig the one I chose.

yah, i know. im from jland. but didnt expect someone to go that deep into the folklore as yukinko isnt very common for a name these days..well maybe it is and im just not aware of anyone named yukinko. no need to change, keep the name.

You are? Cool.
I doubt anyone would name their daughter after an obscure ghost story character. I'm not surprised you're unaware of of anyone having that name.
Oh, I wouldn't think of changing a name I took so much care to choose. My last car was a black 500 ABARTH. I called her Sombrita (Spanish diminutive form of shadow, 'Ombrita in Italian). The name is "cute" and feminine... and also has a deeper meaning for me. I never go with basic when naming a car. I'm weird like that.

Thanks.
The A500 5spd is one of the most satisfying runabout driving experiences of my life. FCAUSA does a horrible job of promoting the heritage of the car/brand though. I poured a lot of energy blogging from 2013-2017... one of the published stories linked Japanese and Italian auto history. I'm addicted to small, well-designed hatches and it all started with my '90 Civic DX. 'Wish I still had that one...

it is unfortunately.. ever since the introduction to electronic steering and drive by wire cars just dont feel the same no more.. but then again if you kinda reset your mind to accept these new technologies, one can really enjoy the new trend in cars in a different way.
