Less than 400 miles and some scraped knuckles, Eibach pro kit and debatable AEM intake. Throttle response seems better and engine sounds less straining on the freeway. Is there a break-in period I should be aware of? Stock height suspension was short lived.

looks good. might do spacers at that ride height and remove that trim the dealer put on the fenders. break in is gentle driving to 1000miles usually.

Thanks! Are all spacers treated equally and spacing recommendation for flushness? I see name brand and China ones. Was never an aftermarket wheels guy so stock will be long lived. $395 was invoiced for the trim, told them I didn't want it so they left it. Almost new trim for sale $300 jk.

id use the name brands like Kics, HR, Eibach especially since you need the ones with the hibcentric lip as ur factory wheels are hubcentric by design. i have had success with some chinese ones too but worry about the studs breaking and such.

lol’ed at trim for sale. haha!

i had a set of project kics where i destroyed the nuts since they were so thin. then again they were 17 mm spacers, so the nuts were very thin aluminum.

Are 10mm spacers sufficient to achieve flushness?

i don’t think so. there is a member helios that recently got 25mm for his rears which looked like a good fit. in this case front would be 15mm - 20mm. but u need to watch out for the bolts protruding past the spacers if u get the bolt-on type spacers. it might not clear the rear disc of the factory wheels unless the factory wheels have deep enough voids between the lug bores. 25mm appears to work, 15mm 20mm might not work.

id look into that.

if u get the stud replacement type then no issue. u can go much thinner too.

well if u want to cut ur factory studs that can work too if u must go bolt on type, but not recommended.

25mm H&R rear spacers

Very pleased after installing them over the weekend. Install was less than 30 mins and avoided my opinionated father coming out of the house. I'm 41, he has no fianancial interest in the car but still likes to put in his 2 cents. However I am using his space and tools.

Thanks! Haven't found a buyer for the trim yet haha. They will come off this month during my next car wash.

Yakima rack

Installed the roof rack this past weekend and you know I had to buy a white Fit to match the bike. At least I was able to save some bread and re-use the round bars from my previous car.
