Purchased my dream GD3 Fit! Ultimate DD build!
Hello FitFreaks!
My name is Vila from the peach state (GA). After having the itch for the last 2 years to purchase the perfect GD3 Fit, I finally made that dream come true this past weekend and booked a one way flight ticket to Texas. After a 15 hour drive home I am now the proud owner of a 2008 Honda Fit Sport in Vivid Blue Pearl 5-speed! Along the way I stopped by a friend's place in Alabama and we adjusted the valves and the intake side had a little play. I have so much planned for this car as it will be my daily driver/project. I am currently on the hunt for a set of Tein S Tech springs for it. So if you have some for sell, PM me please! Enough with the chit chat. Here are a couple of pics I snagged on this rainy day.

Why do you say that? I'm not for, or against, Tein springs, but I would like to hear your thoughts/opinion.

Thanks for the friendly welcomes everyone!
As for the Tein S Techs, I've ran them on numerous Civic/Integra chassis and never had an issue with them. I do realize they are not the best springs out there. However, this build will be a daily driver/budget build and I only really wanted to focus on the aesthetics and maintenance of it.

Ditto for the Tein S-Tech/OEM damper combo I had on my Galant in high school.
I'm also not a fan of the uneven ride height, minimal gap in the front & a noticeable gap in the rear always bugged me.
This is the only picture of my GD3 on my current flickr account (photobucket seems to have eaten all of my old pictures):
I liked the height in front, but wasn't happy with much else about the set up.

Have you looked at the Tanabe GF210 springs? Best balance of drop and ride for the GD if I recall correctly and worked well with stock dampers. Swift is another spring that is known to work good with OEM dampers as well though they are a little bit on the firmer side in terms of ride quality.

Congrats! I think I have the Tein springs everyone's referring to on my Fit (previous owner installed them). I'm not a fan of the uneven stance (front low, back high) and they definitely ride harsh, especially for a DD. I'm thinking of switching to something else that's more leveled.
Oh, it scrapes a lot lol
