just a stupid jdm tail light question

for those of you that have jdm led tail lights.
is the top light the reverse light, and the bottom your turning signals? or the other way around?

both the bulb plugs fit

Thanks

JamesBizzle 07-24-2007 07:31 PM

Top is the blinker, bottom is the revers light.

ahhhh damn it ok, i got it the other way around

lol, I did the same thing. I found it alot easier by removing the plastic panels because you have WAY more space to work with.

^ is there anyway you can take a picture for me of what i looks like properly?

I can't take pics untill Monday if can wait that long, but I don't know how to explain it any more clearer. put the blinker (amber/orange) bulb at the top and the reverse (white/clear) bulb at the bottom. easy as that.

haha when i saw this first post i'm like "oh james should reply to this cuz his taillights were backwards" den i see him post loll. got a good chuckle. =]

sumo 07-25-2007 11:34 PM

sorry i posted that wrong. lol i meant to say i kinda liked the look of it backwards. sorry

Raaaaaaaaaay. 07-25-2007 11:44 PM

Leave it backwards then. It wont hurt or cause any problems. The signals, reverse, and brake lights are still clearly visible.

JamesBizzle 07-26-2007 01:44 AM

ahh, ok I see. lol

The only drawback that I see from having them reversed is that people in your blind spot won't be able to see you signaling. very minor though, just look over your shoulders and you'll be ok.

sorry, I don't have a pic and won't be able to take one for you till Monday but I'm sure if you search the forum you'll be able to find at least one pic.
