Want an LED cargo light? Here's the solution...

Super Bright LEDs - Hobby DYI

" Bare circuit board fits 9mm wedge base bulb socket
has pads for up to four 5mm or 3mm LEDs and one 1/4 watt resistor
measures 3/8 x 1 3/4 inches - no documentation included"

It fits in the cargo light holder perfectly, though a little bending here and there of the bronze pieces might be needed to get a steady fit. There's also enough room between the plastic and the PCB for an 5mm LED to fit.

I already got mine hooked up. I just soldered the top two LED spots together and put two 8000k 425nm 5mm LEDs on the bottom two. They line up perfectly with the diffusion pattern on the inside of the plastic cargo piece. Two 5mm LEDs don't quite fit together next to each other, so on mine I have the top one pointing straight out and the bottom one pointing slightly towards the cargo area.

^ See how one goes straight, the other is angled? That's what i was talking about.

^ It may be a crappy cell phone camera pic, but you can see the light shining strongly, especially on the pillar on the opposite side of the light. Yeah, it does shine that much.

Cheap and easy! Isn't that what y'all want to hear?
