they look sick on the ground but when tend to look at the HID fog light itself it projects kind of a white light rather than yellow even thoght that is what is projects on the ground. Is that the case with you?
|
^^^Yes. If you look @ my 1st picture they almost look white but they are indeed yellow. May have to do with the flash on the camera as well.
|
its just the angle if you took a pic infront of your car and the level the fog light beam is with no flash it would be yellow

here are a few crappy pics i took with my cell phone. this was the day that i put both of my HId kits on and they hadnt been adjusted.
Attachment 79894 Attachment 79895 Attachment 79896 Attachment 79897 i have xenith xenons 6000k Hi/Lo for the head lamps and 3000k fogs. i got them from their web site for 145 each. if you get HIDs for your head lamps go all the way and get bi-xenon. the halogen bulb that comes with the Hi/Lo kit is wack. switching to my high beams is like turning off my lights. |

Your HID looked sicked. Which website you got it from ? and how hard/long was the installation ?
this is the web site for xenith xenons hid kits. alot of people on here have their kits. they make good stuff, have good prices and their customer service is great. the install is pretty darn easy the only hard part was figuring out where i wanted to mount the ballast. once i figured that out the rest was cake. the one problem i had which made it alot longer than it should have been was the fog lights. the hid kit uses naked metal spades that plug into the stock wire harness and the spades that came with the fog light kit were to big to fit into the stock harness. so me being an idiot walked back and forward for an hour or two trying to figure out how to fix it. all i did was file down the spades until they could be fit into the stock sockets. i have some pictures on what i had to do on a thread about hid fog lights. it is the very last post... https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/fit-...-hid-fogs.html |
Mine are Xentech. A friend of mine works with a place that distibutes them so I got them for $240 for both the 3K fogs and 6K headlights

What happens with the cutoff when you go to HID's in the foglights? (I know it goes to h*ll in the headlights...)
