Installed! 9 LED Line Beam
Just installed these 9 LED line beams today. Installation was SUPER EASY.
They are IMO better than J's S-tai due to the nice looking exterior and ease of installation. It comes with a mini ballast type module and you only need to connect the RED wire to + terminal and BLK wire to - terminal. NO NEED TO INSTALL ANY SWITCH. It magically lights up when you turn on ignition and shuts off when you turn off your ignition! :hyper: http://members.shaw.ca/anschan/images/JPEG/ANS_3323.jpg http://members.shaw.ca/anschan/images/JPEG/ANS_3343.jpg http://members.shaw.ca/anschan/images/JPEG/ANS_3340.jpg http://members.shaw.ca/anschan/images/JPEG/ANS_3342.jpg http://members.shaw.ca/anschan/images/JPEG/ANS_3331.jpg http://members.shaw.ca/anschan/images/JPEG/ANS_3325.jpg That's all the wiring there is to do !!!! I couldn't believe this myself! |
oh nice man i seen that in autobachs in japan i was about to buy it. i should of its sick
|
So its not a fused line ( looks like their might be an inline but hard to tell) and is just connected to the battery alone? Hmmm still dont see how it can auto turn off and on, maybe since its waiting for the charge in the battery when the alt connects. But enough rambling, I think it looks cool man. Watch out for the 5-0 that blue could be trouble.

where did u buy those?
and what else colors |
i had j's racing blue LED before....and i got 3 VI in Richmond because of it..so i took it off after the 3rd time...
good luck with yours ... i hope u don't come into richmond...other wise becarefullllll |
They actually look more white than blue. Probably just the way they look in photo. There is a different part # for blue. Thanks for the heads up :wavey:
I believe that little ballast is a micro-chipped interrupter circuit of some sort. I ordered direct from Japan. But the minimum order was 10  Luckily a friend is going to grab 2 sets off me. http://members.shaw.ca/anschan/images/JPEG/ANS_3347.jpg |

Can this be used as DRL? I am interested for a set.

It works great as a DRL. That's why I got this too, because I don't have DRL after Bi-xenon put in.

Note that the angle of the lights can be adjusted. I pointed mine straight ahead. Simply stuck on the bottom with supplied double sided tape (pretty strong) or you can also tap screw on bumper. last picture --> green line that's drawn denotes how I run the wires. There's this black plastic cover that you can tuck the wires into. That's also where I tucked in my HID bi-xenon wires. Will post far night shots soon. |
so you only have the blue ones?
|
I only have white ones. I think the camera's white balance was thrown off by the fluorescent tubes in the parking lot.
I looked at them again and confirm again that they are white... they matched up very closely to my 6000k HIDs. |
Led Lights?
