JDM LED - Stock Replacement?
 

I tried searching in the LED tails thread but there's too many pages to search through. I just had a simple question. Do the JDM led tails work as is as direct replacements, or is there some kind of modification needed to make the LED's work with the stock setup?

i believe they are bolt-on but the only modification needed is to extend the wires for the brake lights. people have gotten away by tugging the wires to reach.

if you get the replica ones, one of the FitFreak members here created a DIY for an ideal fitment.

I would definitely have the wires lengthened. Some have pulled them enough, but mine had nowhere near enough slack. Hope that helps.
