I was at my dealer yesterday and they cannot order them here in Canada. Before I go to expense of getting one from USA I am wondering about installation.

Are the mounting holes/brackets whatever there underneath the headliner? Is it a simple matter of snaking a wire to the dome light?

Yes I have done a search and not finding anything.

P.S. I have seen some USA ones being replaced? with Acura ones so anyone have an original kicking around?

 

Help please before I cut a hole in my headliner only to find no screw holes.

Hey dude, you can, in fact, just wire it up from the dome light. And there will be no bracket or screw holes to mount it, make the hole in the headliner the right size and it should fit snugly without coming out. Mine hasn't moved after a year in my GD3.
