HID's re-installed.

i used the kit i had from my civic, but i changed out to a stock OEM phillips D2S bulb, instead of the custom 9006 bulbs, so no more 6000k for now.

Before re-install.

i need to get some night pics, but this is just as of right now, i'm still waiting on teh proper adapter rings to better seat teh bulbs and to actually get a clean cut, but this is as of right now, i had to adjust the headlights aiming though last night since th eright side was pointing into teh night sky, lol.

Nice. Hope it doesnt glare too much.

no more the what a IS300 does, since they have the same housing type, though they are designed to have a real cut, which is why i'm stillwaiting on the adapter rings, so once i get those i shoudl be okay, but atleast i haven't gotten flashed yet, lol.

If you take any wall cutoff shots, dont forget to post it here.

Thanks!

Look great. I can't wait till I install mine

i finally got them adjusted just right, so the beam itself (not including any glare that there may be) won't blind on-coming traffic. (hopefully).

have you thought about putting them in your foglights. I have some HID's i thought about buying the 3k yellow bulbs and put them in the fog's.

Very much so, just not yet, but eventually, i've seen them before on a 96-00 civic hatch, they were purple , but still looked pretty hot.

what kind of kit did you use? i heard adapter ring doesn't give you the proper cut-off...but NIGHT PICS PLEASE!!! your ride is HOT...

LB3DR May 8, 2006 07:03 PM

I plan on retro fitting them with hid projectors in a couple of months and tent my fogs lights in yellow and yellow hid bulbs or regular.

but theey'll atleast give a better cut then what it currently looks like, it'll never be perfect without a true conversion involving the projectors outta a car that comes with HID's stock, and the Kit i used is outta a lexus, what year or model i have no clue, they came from a body shop, atleast that's what i was told by the radio shop that got them for me.
