Yellow bulbs, clear lenses
I'm looking to run yellow fog lights on my 2010 Fit Sport. I want to keep the clear lenses and run yellow bulbs. I don't even have the car yet, it should be here on Tuesday. As far as I can tell, these are the right bulbs, right wattage and everything, can anyone confirm this. I don't want to get into HID's or anything yet, just simply swap the bulbs.

a lot of people say that these are the best but i dont know if i wuld spend 80 bucks on some bulbs, i had some nokya hyper yellows in my fit that were super yellow and at the time i wasnt running any yellow film, y dont u want to have any tint on them? or do hids? heres my setup during the day with 6000k headlight hids and 3000k hid fogs with yellow film from a guy on here (azncarbos) and man does it look good!

I don't like the look of the yellow film. I think clear lenses look much better, especially with clear headlight lenses. As far as the HID's go, it's just not something I'm interested in at this point. I don't even have the car yet. I'm just looking for some yellow bulbs and wanted to know if those were the right ones.

Look around I bought those bulbs for $55 last year =hopefully you can find a good deal on them. I don't think they're worth 80 though.
|
Yeah I've found them cheaper than $80 a few places. I've heard they don't go out as often as the Nokyas so if they cost a little bit more, to me it's worth it. I hope I didn't sound like a hater when I said I didn't like the yellow film, just not my style. This is going to be the second car that I've owned, I drove a '97 Civic for 9 years before I blew the motor about a month ago so I've been in the Honda scene for quite a while. I'm going to keep the Fit pretty close to stock with a few subtle mods and that's it.

nokyas under 20$ shipped, 2 years and still going

Get Nokya bulbs, i bought mine off of amazon for like 15 bucks, they still work for me lol. had em so far for 3 months.
|
Ya id def get the nokya bulbs. I was extremely happy with the output and the life of the bulbs. Plus there more than half the price of piaa bulbs for the same output and yellowness. Plus u culd buy 4 sets of nokya bulbs compared o just one set of piaas. U cant go wrong with them.
|
What about Hella ($23) or Hoen ($39)?
|
+1 on the Nokya hypers. I've had 'em a couple years, run all the time in cloudy or rainy weather and they are going strong. (btw, Oregon is cloudy alot!)

i would go with yellow film. I had yellow bulbs and they kept burning out all the time. Got sick of buying bulbs all the time. Yellow film works like a charm, too bad you don't like the look.
