Under the Hood Lighting for the 1K time haha

Okay this is my 1st DIY thread with that said Here we go......:D
Materials - LEDs from Hong Kong no others can be bought as cheap. 25 blue single LEDs were 6.00 shipped, 30cm blue strips 5 for 15.00 shipped. So I looked around under the hood and chose the plastic strip over the radiator and drilled 3/16" holes for just the 5mm LED to push through and stay very well. this lit the front up pretty good if I were to do it again I just use strips. The back of the engine was dark and untill I saw FELIX'S SC Fit I figured a strip was used under the tower brace. Now for the 3.00 it cost the back of the engine is kick'n!
The power came from the fuse/relay block by the battery (GD3) through a 2 amp weather proof fuse holder then to a small spst switch from Radio Shack, the wiring is just a series circiut, the ground can be made were ever is the most convient for your application. The hood light is a single really bright chip(closeup) in pix, all in all there are 26 LEDs for this project.

This is some of the lights the black length is the 30cm strip and the plastic bag are collars for the LED single for a nice clean look.

In this pic are the dif. switches and a 3 fuse holder. 22ga color coded speaker wire works well and is Cheap the amp load is nil on the LEDs and the colr keeps the ground and pos. know while running the circuits.
