Has anyone just put an LED 7440 bulb in the 3rd brake light? I am debating picking one up and putting it in there to see how it would look. Its iffy how it would look since that bulb goes in sideways to the housing.

Why not just hook up the original bulb in parallel, painted black with high-temp paint or covered in opaque foil, and stuffed out of sight...

true, but you can buy 3ohm 50w load resisters all day long for <$20 shipped...

a cheap man's reflector would be aluminum foil stuffed in a parabolic shape in there. Good luck :)

Are the GE flasher modules also on the gauge cluster? I have an upgraded flasher module here next to me so I can run these free LED bulbs from our vendor and would like to get it all going.

Put in 45w H4 LED headlights, parking lights don't work now.
Hey guys, I just recently changed out my stock halogen headlights for a set of LED H4 45w 2500/4500 dual beam from VLEDS.COM, but now my parking light don't turn on at all. I've read the threads about hyperflashing for the turnsignal and whatnot, but they work fine. It's my parking lights that won't turn on. They are on the same wiring harness as the headlights so I'm assuming my cpu is getting a signal in the flasher unit about a bulb being out cause of the LEDs, but no one else has mentioned the parking lights just not working versus flahing fast or bulb out lights. So could someone please explain what the cause is and if it's the flasher unit what resistor load I'd need to put on it for just the headlights? Thank you
