An accessory I'd love to see

I wish there was a cargo trey, but bigger and just for cargo mode. So it can be used as a truck. It sucks that if you use the cargo mode, the things you're carrying will be destroying the crappy carpet of the back of the back seats. I always thought the fit can be a competetant truck, as long as you don't haul bridge pillars (but who does?)

I agree. I use rubber cargo mats from Sam's. If you buy two you cut off one edge of each one so that you can overlap the mats and extend them when in cargo made to cover most of the area. That way the carpet is protected from abrasions and liquids.

Go to an outlet store to see if you can find material to lay down. Perferably something water tight and able to slide stuff onto. I bought some material that had beed sold to people with suvs and trucks with canopies. It looks just the same as the carpet. Yes I have enough to do the entire back. Construction paper lays out nicely to make a perfect template for cutting. If you like the idea keep some wood around to distribute the load. Infact get this I plan to use the cardboard tire cover as a templet for a wood replacement. I did this same idea for a suberue that had been water damaged. It looked like a factory job. All you need is a drill, recipercating saw or perhaps a skill saw. Heck do it by hand if you like.:D
