Factory radio on Fit Sporto and MP3 CD's
The web page says that the factory radio on the Fit Sport will play MP3 and WMA files.
So I can burn the files onto a CD-R and then put that in to the radio on a Fit Sport and it will play the files, no iPod needed.. Is this correct? |
That is Correct.

This is exactly what I have done. I have about a dozen CD's that I carry in my car, each with 150+ songs on them.
I've read that some Honda vehicles can play MP3's from DVD+/-R's as well. Has anyone tried this in a Fit yet to see if it works? |
Not only you can put mp3s in there, you can put them in folders so you can get to your songs quicker! took me a few burns to get it right though,, Found out you gotta burn it as a data CD..

From page 115 in the manual:
The disc player can also play CD-Rs and CD-RWs compressed in CDTEXT, MP3, andWMA formats. When playing a disc in MP3 or WMA, you will see ‘‘MP3’’ or ‘‘WMA’’ in the display. You can select up to 255 folders or tracks. Maximum layers (including ROOT): 8 layers |
