Headliner Removal Question!

Going to be removing my Headliner in a few days and reading as much as possible. But I measured the front of my headliner to be 50in and 34in in the back. How did you guys get it out??

I'm hoping it wont be difficult at an angle out the hatchback. Any tips?

It's fiber board it will flex. You can sorta bend it into a slight u shape to get it out.

Can bending it break or damage it at all? Should I be very gentle? Or can it handle some bending?

It is not rigid, it can take a lot of flexing. Even if it gets to the point of seeing the fabric crease you won't be able to see that when it is straightened out...unless you damage the fiberboard (I'm not really positive that's the correct name for it). Take off one of the pillar trims and experiment with an edge of the headliner?

In most of the other cars you have to remove headliner through the passengers front door area.....it def won't go exit and enter thru there completely straight
