Just Got a Fit Today!
I just got a 2008 VBP Fit Sport in 5 Speed today! I got a few extras from the dealer such as wheel locks and the plastic stuff on the doors to protect them from scratches. I noticed i didnt get any carpet pad things? Are those extra and did anyone get them?

They are all eatra at the dealer but pretty nice/durable/ deep all weather mats. But they jack you on the price. I fund them to be much cheaper on-line but my dealer matched the price for mats and that black applique thing on the back sill.

Welcome to the family, congrats on the VBP. You got a great deal. By carpet pad things, I assume you are talking about floor pads? I went to meijer and got some basics for $30. I can't justify the cost for having a Honda logo on something that will only be seen by my feet.

BTW I love the front end of the Fit, thats what sold me the car even more. It reminded me of my RSX and I love the headlights.

Get the T1R B-Max Intake and you Fit will sound just like your Type S. =]

I'm making my first post here .. and your story caught my eye. My RSX-S was stolen last week, and recovered.. but when its fixed I will be getting rid of it for a new Fit. Too much hassle man. Anyways, the Fit front end reminds me of the RSX as well. I am afraid I will miss the raw feel and hp of the RSX, but its good to know that the Fit is fun to drive. Hopefully I'll be buying one soon.
