BigToepfer's Bad Day!
 

The story goes like this. Adam (bigtoepfer) drives to Houston to pick up a caron fiber hood for his Fit. Well he drives in on Saturday and spends the night. So here it is Sunday morning, he gives me a ring and says he want to go on a small photo shoot. So as we meet up under this bridge my camera dies on me. So we have to drive to Wal-Mart. So we all walk in and pick out the batteries I need and wait in line to cash out. He walks to the bathroom and it's blocked off for cleaning. So as he walks towards the line I'm in he slips on what looks like some spilt KY lubricant. At least it looked clear and greasy. So he bust is butt and falls right down on his knee. Turns out he broke his knee cap in half. So he was unable to go on the photo shoot like we wanted. So we drove his car up to the hospital for him and I shot a few pic's there. Then drove him to my place and shot more pic's there while he waited for his folks to come in from LA.

PS: I see an important moral of this story; Don't go to Walmart!!!

Currently Walmart is building a "Mega-Walmart" back in my hometown on top of a protected wetlands area. Yep, one of the biggest Walmarts ever in Canada is about to distroy a giant estuary area... f#cking idiots. The town only has about 40K people in it, they will pretty much decimate all the Mom & Pop stores there.

Did Adam ever mention how he was going to get home?

His Dad and Grandma just picked him up. His Dad is driving the Fit and he's in the back set in "Refresh" mode. He said that if this turns on for the good, he's going to go turbo and Mugen body kit with sponsored by Wal-Mart on his car. :rotfl:

dam that had to suck. I am going to Houston in a week to visit a friend on the way to FL. I am moving from San Diego to FL.

Man.. If I would have been able to stay in Houston longer I could have got my fit in on the photo shoot too hahah.

I guess if he can't drive by the time the meet rolls around we'll take mine instead.

Man I have to say that today sucked....I really feel for Adam too, if yall would of seen his leg...literally you were looking at 2 bones broken in half :confused: ...Regardless of all that he really man'd up and stood his own. It was just gonna be a small shoot that turned into an epic thing.. Hope you get well soon man, and hope the surgery goes smooth. Hope that we can see you at the meet too :) . Btw I see myself in the background in the very first pic...lol :D

So Wal-Mart is going to cover it, excellent! They should, and it's good to hear that they are, I just wouldn't put it past them too try and pull some sneaky moves.
