Am I crazy for doing this?

I'm just back home after a 5 day trip to the northern county Finnmark where I was on a Geocaching hunt.

Here are a few pictures that show my car in a bit strange surroundings. Hope you dont think I'm crazy for taking my car out in this envirorment. And this is also the reason for not lowering the car yet. Have to see how much I can lower it first. After this trip I think 2cm is maximum I can go.

Too bad the weather was not better, then the images wuold be realy nice. Here I am going down from a mountain road.

Here I am at a slate pit. Where they made the stone slates. The car looks realy out of place here (and is realy dirty):

The scenery was just astounding. Here I'm going trough a narrow canyon:

And it quicly change to this; flat bleak plain. This is a 3km stretch of road without any turns. Just up and down:

Had some nice hikes here and found 28 caches in three days (2 days for driving). Anybody else going on Geocaching hunt here?

I wish there were scenic areas like that around here. I could find some more scenic areas like 4 hours north of me but nothing nearly that cool.

Would like to do some Geocaching but cant pull the trigger to buy a GPS. Sounds like fun though. I also heard some people put treasures out-and-about to be found. Have you ever done that?

Geocahing is fun! I have found 214 and hidden 23.
I put my mountain bike in the rear of my car and go out hunting. Sometime it hapens in center of a town, or close to buildings. Other times you have to walk along a path for an hour or more (or less) in beautiful surroundings. And most often I find nice places I never would have found if I did not go out Geocaching.

And thats one of the reason for buying this car. It can easy handle two persons and some luggage for going on a hiking trip. Even space for two bikes if I want.
The car does not use much fuel and is easy to handle both on tarmac and on gravel roads, winter and summer. It's the perfect cachingmobile

I still have a few days left of my vacation and I think I'll go hunting here close to where I live, there is a few new caches that have appaered recently.

My Fit and family also dabble in Geocaching. Temperate rain forrest in our part of the world. Taking the TomTom Navi out of the car is not the most reliable way of finding things, however. Still great fun.

I'm not going to lie. I had no idea what geocaching was.

But now that I do...I want in!

Now that I have nothing to do, I'm thinking about getting in on it.
