Don't like the round WSII? Me Neither! Check out my new axle-back!

So all the pics I have seen from Apex show that the axle-back WSII is the oval cannister style muffler, I love it. But the actual item you recieve is a round case that hangs way too low for my taste. So I decided to run the universal WSII with left inlet, I picked up a flange so I could remove it later and replace it with the stock piece. Anyways, check it out and let me know what you think!

i agree with the OP, the wsII design for the Fit is odd. i don't know what compelled them to give it a round body opposed to the oval one that everyone is familiar with. also, the mufler-body is almost un-necessarily HUGE LoL.. i find myself sraping the end of the exhaust tip more often because of the round muffler design :(

wait4thefit, i'm curious to how you were able to adjust the height that your wsII sits at. did you just bend the hangers?

I like oval shaped exhaust.

What suspension are you on. Looks great

sooo..... i'm looking in getting one too.

What's the difference between the offset left or right inlet?
Or just the regular one without the offset?

BLADES!!!!

i miss my blades :(

ILoveMYHonda1984 Sep 15, 2008 10:48 PM

I got the muffler from TH motorsports for $204 shipped. Probably could have got it for cheaper but it is what it is. The left in let allows for easier mounting as that is what the stock muffler is, left inlet.

The suspension is TEIN basic coilovers, all the way to da bottom, hehe.

The blades are going to be replaced by soem 16 inch polished slips for a while, until I get bored and go back to my all time favorite Honda wheels, the BLADES.

Thanks for the positive feedback, lets me know Im doin it right!

Love your car man. I was thinking of getting blades for my ssm and your car definitely made the decision a little easier. Now just to find some nice ones...
