pics of my cowl scoop on my 07 VBP FIT

pics of my cowl scoop i made and fits perfect using oem plastic cover for the little panel in the cowl....






clears the hood with no problem..... looks good and is functional..

and yes it has a whole in the plastic so it get air from outside to the engine

hmm where did you get it? from that first pic if you notice it doesnt curve with the hood area.

it is the original plastic cowl cover that i made into a scoop...

i have a seibon cf hood with cf grill and rear spoiler...
and it is a seibon carbon fiber mg hood with 1x1 weave from what i understand
and it was so easy to install and suuuuupppppeeerrr light..

i got tired of waiting on the one rogue was making .. no offense ...so i got a scoop and bondo it into the plastic cow cover that is removeable and came out nice and fully functional

Just curious aren't you worried about rain getting into it and running down right on top of your battery and cables?

nothing... your whole engine bay gets wet when it rains the from grill and tires splashing... this isnt even that close to the battery anyway

the scoop is more over the back of the engine and almost over the brake cylinder cap.....i like it and was wondering if anyone else did...i got tired of waiting on the scoop to be made and made one myself..
yes all my wipers are painted.. i like the look
the scoop will give me alittle more fresh air

Did you route it to anything? If not its pointless. Just like all those scoops on the hood. Its too much man...

i helps cool brake fluid so if your constantly braking hard going down from the top of a mountain.

yeah it brings in more fresh air just like the other scoops do..
it does something so check your info next

time and funny how so many people on here wanted one when rogue was creating one in fiberglass or cf

More fresh air to what? If that air doesnt go in your intake or routed to your brakes then its not doing anything.

I like it great job dude. never thought of that idea. even if it doesnt go to the intake its still cool. hey at least you'll be the first I would not mind have one for myself. =) don't mind the others looks great.
