LED's Galore & ScanGauge with custom Mount. Lots-O-Pics

Hi, everyone. Figured I did enough MODs to warrant a new Pic post. I added a lot of new LED's and bought a ScanGuage with custom mount.

I have a lots of props and recognition to give along the way for either DIYs or hooking me up with the items.

I will start in order of installation:

The first 2 items I got from "Koolkevin1107" Here: https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/sale...-keyrings.html He also has a link in the same thread for DIYs.

First the Key ring LED.

Next up is LED Cup holders.

Here is a look at the LEDs under the Cup holder area:

The next few MODs were all from "Fit of RAGE" Here: https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/sale...-products.html He has a DIY in his sig for the Door Sill LEDs. The Foot well and any other you want to do are simple once you do the Door sills. I used the same LED strip. 6mm.

First the door sills:

The last of the LED MODs I did was HVAC. Here is a good DIY by "billmus86" He tells you what lights to get and were: https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/fit-...iy-w-pics.html
Here are the HVAC Pics:

I made a change to the DIY since I already had the cup holder LEDs and used the LEDs on wires to light my holder area on the Meta kit below the radio.

I really like the end result with the LEDs. I did a lot of thinking were to put them and were to tap power from. With the Door Sills I used the recommended location in the DIY and they light up with the dome light.

I tied the foot well lights into the same location as the Cup holder lights under the HVAC area and they all light up with the parking lights.

The LEDs in the Metra kit holder area are tied into one of the HVAC LEDS as described in the HVAC DIY. It all came out very nice.

Lastly I bought a ScanGauge off here from “07fitsport" here https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/sale...tom-mount.html He made a custom mount which I modified slightly to work for my situation.

Here are the Pics:

It works perfectly. A great addition to the Fit. I love the way I was able to mount it. I almost have it all configured for my Fit. In the pic I have from top left: Batt VLT, Tank MPG, Instant MPG, and Instant HP. I am also able to use my GPS to verify that the MPH and Trip are correct on the ScanGauge. So far they are dead on. I am still working with it the MPG are not correct yet because I have not done a full tank or a fill up. There are so many other Gages as well. I also configured a TRIP mpg. So I will be able to see Instant, Trip, and Tank MPG all at once.

Feel free to ask any questions you may have.

Thanks,
Brandon.

I love the door sill lights with those door sill protectors it reflects the light nicely although maybe a white or an orange light would of fit your orange fit more nicely?

It's not quite as bright as the camera makes it seam. I really have no issues. I made sure to use ordinary LEDS (Not super brights) it is just the right amount of light.
