if you use good glue, it will never lift. The ones used on mine are really strong.

So whats the consensus on the best adhesive to use? Spray on, rubber cement?

Is it better to use a thick or thin fabric? Also, what kind of meterial is suggested.
|
I'm afraid to do this :(
How difficult is it to pull out the headliner and get it back in? Do all the pillars have to come off? If so how much would it be to get the pillars all powder coated black? Just a ball park number I want to do like black seude headliner black pillars and red oh sh!t handles. Then I was the door panels some type of red/black pattern.. I'm so afraid to do this work. Can someone make a step by step tutorial from removing the pillars to remove the headliner to cutting the fabric to applying the fabric and then putting the headliner back in and what works best. I just dont want to F anything up! |

I used contact cement and applied it with a paint brush.

I have had mine for about a year now and its still holding up. My car is usually outside in the Florida sun and my interior is all black. Lasted much longer than the month or so the Super77 worked for the first time around |

Thin enough fabric to stretch is the best, but also not too thin because the glue would start to show through. So there's a limit.
