Honda Fit - From Brazil - 1.4DSI LX

Hi people. I'm from Brazil and this is my Fit. I call "him" with a nickname: VRUM.

Above some pics, and, yes. I know, the car are stock, but I'm going slow to upgrade the car.

Thanks. I saw some differences comparing a brazilian fit, USA Fit (or Jazz?) and JDM fit. It's intersting.

Thanks Dude. It's a stock front bumper. I will take some new shoots of the front bumper with the fog lights, but before, I need to wash the car

Yeah, and it's a stock part of the bumper .

I read something here (and in a brazilian forum) about some models of fit/jazz with this problem in the front bumper, damaging the AC condenser with small (or not) rocks.

Nice Fit. Fits are a little different around the world, and so it's great you posted pictures.

Keep us updated with your rims!

Yeah, it's a big true. It's very easy to change the player. I'm thinking to put a Pioneer DVD 2-din, but, at this moment, are only plans.

What's up everybody.

I received today a box with the "little Vrum". It's a Tamiya model of Honda Fit/Jazz. Below some pics of the kit.

Tamiya models are always well engineered. It should go together easily.

Here's another forum I like if you want to post details of little Vrum's "creation". Will little Vrum have left or right drive?

Tamiya it's the one of the best.

The forum are new to me, and looks good. I used to acess the Automotive Foruns, but only for research. I will make a specify log for the little Vrum and soon I will post the link here.

About the dashboard, I will use the left hand, how the "original" car.

Thanks

My family just moved to SP, Brazil. I went from a US 2007 White 5p Sport to a 2007 1.4 DSI (just can't afford the new Fit here in Brazil). Let me tell you that it is a big adjustment..to 80HP, no ABS, no side and passenger air bag, fog lights, 14 inch wheel...still getting used to the yellow dash.

I am going back home (US) and bring all the mod down here. I hope they fit.

Eph2: Do you know if Brazil fit uses "drive-by-wire"? Voce sabe se Fit do Brasil uso "drive-by-wire"? (excuse my poor Portuguese, I have been here for one month)

Hi Marty. It's a shame the price of the cars here in Brazil. Don't you think?
About the mods, I believe it can fit on your "fit/jazz". The differences are not so big.

About the "drive-by-wire" I think this system are not used totally in the car. The gas pedal I know it's "eletronic", and the steering wheel system is "eletric", but I don't know if only this two itens are included on the pack "drive-by-wire".

PS: The eletric steering wheel system are the same system of the hidraulic, the unique change is the addition of a slave motor to do turn of the wheels more gentle.

See ya

PS: Sorry about my poor English.
