So a total of 3 times Ive cracked my pan. The first 2 were from the road shaving down my pan causing hairline cracks. Nothing major, small puddles over night. So I patched them with propoxy. Anytime the road would shave down the patch Id add more.
Last Friday wasnt like that. Driving down a road I take daily, its under construction. Im avoiding this and that. They must have cut a new section into an old section or something, I hit it. All my mirrors adjust downward, (normal) whatever was in my cup holders was on the floor... Just bad.
So, Im worried something happened.. but I make my way. Half mile down the road Im passing my friends body shop, I noticed the bay open and his car out front. I make a U-turn. Great idea.
I pull in, scraping and framin of course. Hahh 20min later, I get a phone car so I walk to my car. Big ass puddle of $40 oil. Glad I was due for a change.
My blood trail. That small spot is from a bike... Of course we cleaned my spot the night of. I didnt want Kevin to get in trouble.

The pan use to have ribs. Left front corner is the damage.

Doesnt look like much, but its enough to drain all my oil and leave a trail from the impact point.

My dads truck was down due to a bad coil. Bill happened to be at my house when I needed to get Vivian. So, Fits CAAANN tow things.

^ Cosign. Good thing you parked when you did, it wouldn't want to know what would happen to the engine if you ran too low or out of oil. I think it would be a good time to have a skid plate custom made.
And on a different, yet similar note; here is a little bit of irony...
Where's the rolling shots?

Shes fixed and good. Scraped the pan already, but just a scuff.
Hopefully this pan will last another year.
