i like it man, did u do any mods to get the rears that low?

markwalter 04-06-2010 05:20 PM

I actually got them used soooo I'm not really sure.... I think so because the rear is grinder down some..... I'd actually like to drop it more because the back sitting up like that is driving me crazy.

Thanks though! I love your fit as well btw

JDMxGE8 04-06-2010 05:28 PM

You know you're low when you get a ticket for being too low. :D

i have a friend that's a cop and he said as long as it doesnt spark or scrape in front of them they cant do anything..... but mine has been like this for about a week and it has been taking a beating! im gonna lift her up tomorrow or thursday and check out what has been hitting besides the bumper.

JDMchris.com 04-06-2010 07:41 PM

wow thats pretty dumped. I know the law here in cali is that the center of ur headlight must be 21 inches or more from the ground.

SD_MR_FIT 04-06-2010 07:48 PM

the car can basically be on the ground and the center of the headlight will be 21 inches :)

dela 04-06-2010 08:09 PM

i've gotten a ticket for this before in a past car... in cali at least... basically any part of the body can not go below the lowest part of the rim... easiest fix for this is to have large diameter rims with rubber band tires... lol

Modification of Vehicles

24008. It is unlawful to operate any passenger vehicle, or commercial vehicle under 6,000 pounds, which has been modified from the original design so that any portion of the vehicle, other than the wheels, has less clearance from the surface of a level roadway than the clearance between the roadway and the lowermost portion of any rim of any wheel in contact with the roadway.

Amended Ch. 462, Stats. 1984. Effective January 1, 1985.

Looks good. Low is the way to be. Your car will hit everything but if you want low you gotta take hits! :D

FitDEEZ 04-07-2010 03:50 AM

markwalter 04-07-2010 11:15 AM

GD3_Wagoon 04-07-2010 11:26 AM

90% of all the slammed Fits are MR, coincidence? any angle on a GD that low is money. love the stance https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/images/icons/icon14.gif

now i know why you're having trouble finding a shop to get your alignment, i don't think you'll even clear a 2x4 haha

grtpumpkin 04-07-2010 04:53 PM

LMAO ^^ He'll have to use a 1x4 to climb up on the 2x4s HA hahahahahaha! That is pretty damn low. I wouls invest in a skid plate to protect your oil pan at that height. Looks fabulous though!

A guy that flew on the same plane I was on told me about that law in 1968.... He was from Huntington Beach and had been into the low rider scene .... I just remembered that he turned me onto my first buzz..... He wasn't on the plane home 13 months later..... Everybody called him Acid. He was a 2531 also.
