LowBUDGETs2k May 7, 2010 10:44 PM

Aspec ,dude if u try and put it with bumper on ull say ull need longer hangers so I bought them and tried again fail... Installed with bumper off reinstall on car and threw longer hangers away. clearance not an issue

JaySmith May 7, 2010 10:53 PM

Well w...t...f.... I actually kind of like it on your vehicle. lol Maybe it was due to a poor install on the previous vehicle.

Illmatic07 May 8, 2010 06:26 PM

Yeah for some reason it has a better look to it on your car. I may have to reconsider this.

I think they look the same installation wise but it just looks better on a white car. Also there's less reflections on everything in these pictures so the location/conditions of the photographs are a bit better as well.

I pushed near the fender well tight when I bolted it... Was a pain , wanted it to sit flush against it plus I added more 3m

You'd have to be on crack to think they look the same....

Look at the considerable gaps compared to LowBUDGETs2k's installation.

I really like it on the white Fit! Looks great! And my apologies to JaySmith. I'm sorry that you don't like how I installed the lip. The fact remains that I installed it correctly. Its not like the carbon fiber is flexable so that I could try to eliminate the small amount of gap I got around the wheel well. Everything else is flush. I think the lighting conditions and color of car have more to do with the differnce in look.

LowBUDGETs2k May 9, 2010 12:57 PM

Ya I wish the lip had some play... But I do have a gap drivers side and the pass is somewat flush but it was as tight as I could get it...wat do u expect it's aftermarket lol

As I said, it has more to do with the reflections and lighting/photograph conditions than anything. If you look at the white Fit's pictures, they're smaller in resolution and there are way less reflections/shadows which makes the gaps less noticeable. They're still there and in around the same amount as far as I can tell from the pictures. Nothing 'considerable' in difference just from these pictures, no idea in person though.
