I took my Fit to the track last Tuesday. The front lip did not survive haha. I think I'll have to replace it with something more sturdy, but I'll push that off for a little while. Big changes in store for my Fit, starting this weekend!

I'm not ready yet! I have to prep my car to show in June (Wekfest), then I need to save up for track brakes. I nearly melted mine at the "kart track" hah. They were smoking

I haven't updated you guys in a while! My Fit has changed quite a bit. I now have the Mugen rear, carbon fiber JDP lip, new mint powdercoat on my wheels, and I joined a second crew called the Stance Stories Syndicate (Local Origins is still my main crew <3)
Anyways, here's the pics! 141. I showed at Wekfest 2012 in Long Beach! Photo credit to Jofel Tolosa from JDM Sport Attachment 25570 140. With my crew member's S14 Attachment 25571 139. Photo credit to Hobbaswaggle! Attachment 25572 138. Stance Stories Attachment 25573 137. Thank you to my boyfriend for helping me prep my car for Wekfest at 1am the night before :D Attachment 25574 136. Slammed on stockies while the Konigs were being powdercoated Attachment 25575 135. I love driving slow! This picture is a little out dated. My current MPG is more like 42.5 Attachment 25576 134. Mugen rear! Attachment 25577 133. My brother and I are so opposite in our car choice haha Attachment 25578 |
You car is looking real good! I do however miss the pink rims, those were badass. If you don't mind me asking, how much was your JDP lip?

My lip was $275 picked up |
I like the mint green better! It's a lot more subtle and chill. Mugen rear looks best when slammed like that. JDP too. Deng, haha. I'm jealous!

Yee! Dunno 'bout everyone else but even though it doesn't seem as eye-catching, I can't help but take a second glance. It's a really nice color/look haha definitely unique :popc:

Don't get me wrong, I'm digging the mint too. I was just surprised that the pink and SSM looked so good. It's also nice to see a girl tricking out her car too! Not much of that happening out here in Michigan.

$40 a wheel for the powdercoating, which isn't bad. It's the preparation that's costly becuase I have to have my tires removed at a shop, then put back on afterwards.
Haha, not too many out here in Cali either which shop is that?? i got quoted 60-80 per wheel to get powdercoated in Chino hills |

MORE MINTY PICS!!!!!!!!! wow i paid 260 for my green powder
that broke down like this sandblast - $60 cash powder - $50 its a candy labor - $150, included a chrome base and a candy coat, and a clear topcoat also included jb weld a fingernail sized nick on edge of one wheel, and scuff and cheese cloth i didn't have any labor for mount and dismount cuz i work at a dealership my guy says if the wheels are in good enough condition, he can just scuf and prep, and a single stage powder color = would be 130 -150 a set so take these #'s to your guys down there and tell them to meet it of beat it powder costs about $12 a pound, it takes less than two pounds for a set of 4 16"wheels, there s no reason they are charging more than i am paying!!! |
