Hello to all you freaks;

I've been trolling on these boards for a little while and I have now finally purchased an 08 Taffeta White Sport with manual transmission! I found a jewel of an example with only 37000 km (23000 miles) and I'm really enjoying the car.

A quick introduction: my name is Kevin and I live in Québec, Canada and I'm quite the car enthusiast. Previous cars that I have owned are:

-1989 Nissan 240SX
-2002 Acura RSX Base (AT... grrr)
-2002 Subaru WRX
-1997 Mercedes-Benz E-Class E320

and current cars that I own:
-2006 Honda Civic (Wife's car)
-2008 Honda Fit Sport
and
-1985 Porsche 911 Carrera 3.2

As of yet, I have rebadged my GD3 with red H emblems and a rear Jazz emblem. I really like the Honda white and red combo as it represents their racing heritage... I know, I know... red badges are for Type R cars, but I think of mine more of a tribute than a performance car. As for the Jazz emblem, well I love jazz music ( any Avishai Cohen or The Bad Plus fans on here? ) Furthermore, I added a 'JDM tight' red hazard switch and Genuine RSX aluminium 5-spd shift knob.

Perhaps more stuff will be done to the car in the future, but for now this is how it roams:

Nice car and welcome to the forum. I enjoy my Fit initially I was on the fence but after a year of ownership I enjoy driving it more.

Are white Fits with black interior common in Canada? I've only seen one in the States (well, in person anyways). Looking good!

Yeah I think they are pretty common in Canada from what I saw on Autotrader while shopping for one!

White GD's came were only available in 2008 in Canada (I believe they were only available in 2007 in the US?). I'm not sure about non-sport, but all of the white Fit sports came with the black interior.

 

I just noticed you asked about the 911! I took the engine and tranny out to do some maintenance (1st gear syncro was shot and clutch/pressure plate needs to be changed. So the car sits in the garage for now but here are some quick pics:

I think all the sport Fits (GD) in Canada have black interior. I have a base and it also has black interior except for the seats.
