I tuned/dyno'd the car about 2 weeks ago. Got 101.9 WHP, 98.5 WTQ. Since then I added the axle back and switching to the IK22 plugs. Since the KR is hitting upwards of 5* i am going to play with some things once the plugs are in. Updates soon!

Very nice, How much does that wheel and tire package weigh? Can you throw it on a scale?

Wheel: 9.5 lbs
Tire: 21 lbs
Total: 30.5 lbs per corner

Shaved off 10 lbs per corner over the stock 15" wheels.

Wow OEM setup is that heavy?

Have you ran the RE11s yet? Any feedback?

What Class are you running in?

The stock wheels come in at 19.5 lbs which someone has posted here.

I ran the RE-11's for a few races now. They are great so far. This is my first year in AutoX. I believe they handle well for the amount of power the car has. The RE-11 A is a new compound. They have more tread wear (180 to 200) and are a stickier tread. I'll be racing on them this weekend coming up.

I currently run in STF.

Another worth while mod that allowed in STF are seats and Stainless Brake Lines. Seats with brackets have to be a min of 25 lbs each. The brackets weigh up to 7-10 lbs ea. OEM seats (if I remember correctly) are around 45-50 lbs ea. Save some weight and stay planted while driving. I never autox'd with the OEM seats. Do you slide around a lot?

Future mods within the next few months will b:

- Mid pipe
- Pulley set or crank pulley
- SS brake line

Seats will be something down the line when the wife doesn't drive the vehicle. She does enough damage to it with it being lowered. To be honest i'm not sure how much longer I will sty in STF before I go boost. Looking forward to a SC and engine work possible by the ned of the year. So i'll jump to SMF and possible NASA events. But first things first get my driving down hahaha!

Any difference with the IK22 vs. IK20?

Paulo107 04-21-2014 09:27 PM

Nice ride...they are fun for autox

I haven't changed the plugs out yet. I will be doing that later this week.

I have data logged the car after the tune so far. I want to do another data log no that I added the axle back exhaust. Then I will do another after the uh change to compare. I'm hoping to decrease my knock retard some. I'll also retune some more to decrease KR and hopefully gain a few more with the axle back/plugs/retune.

Rollerboots666 04-22-2014 11:49 PM

Well my PFC z-rated pads were cancelled by the vendor. Bummed on that. Was looking forward to trying those out. Had good experiences in the past on the Pfc pads. Went with EBC yellow stuff pads. Hoping i get them before the weekend so I can race on them this Sunday.

Modified my coil overs today. Should be able to get -3* without trying to hard. Also got my EBC products and installed them.

I didn't see or feel much of a difference to be honest. Maybe when we get it back on the dyno for a retune it will help. I was hoping it would take down the knock retard a few degree but still getting 5* at WOT. Going to attempt to play with the tune and adjust fuel/timing to help bring it down.

Just to help you out, I wouldn't get a lighter crankpulley if you're going to do SC.

This link should help: https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/fit-...leys-kwsc.html

Rollerboots666- Running 205/50/15s on the stock wheels with a lowered car, have you had any issues? I'm looking to purchase new tires and would like to go to a 205. Thanks, Guy

ikutoisahobo 04-27-2014 07:59 PM

205s on the stock rims, I just noticed that!

I have the same question as jgpoirier. Also how's the fitment of the tires on the wheels?

Rollerboots666 04-27-2014 09:57 PM

derykisonder - Thanks for that thread on the lighten pulley.

jgpoirier and ikutoisahobo - No I haven't had any real issues on a 205/50R15. I little bit of inner fender rub on the metal but nothing serious. On the stock wheels its great with that +55 et offset. Today was the first day racing on the Volk's. I noticed I got some wear on the outer shoulder under heavy turns. All I have to do is roll the rear fender and i'll have no issues.
