Looks like I'll be getting a V6 Accord parts car next week. 😁 The j30a5 needs rebuilding but it contains 90% of the rest of the parts I'll need. And I'll still be able to use the engine and tranny combo to mock up mounts. Woot! The j35a6 from the 05-06 Odyssey (255 up, 250 ft lbs) bolts up too.

I've seen one of those in a Fit that is not nearly as light as yours, and it just smoked the tires for days and days. You're gonna have some hella traction issues. Also, get a full roll cage in that thing. And a pack of magnums -- you're gonna need a lot of rubber!!!

LOL, yup I will need slicks or at least drag radials! I'm going to try and make this a budget J swap and it looks like I'm picking up a whole car soon. 😁

Also removed the EPS pump to see if it function without....looks like it will but it needs a cover to keep the elements out. Still have lots of lexan laying around so I made it out of that, surprise surprise.Very easy to remove this with no engine in the bay!

The J series Accord is home, but too dark for pics. Here is one from earlier in the day.

This is all so much more exciting than my plans! Can't wait to see that J30 in the Fit!

I see that is a manual car. Are you going to go manual or auto? I'm thinking an auto with a 100 shot would actually be faster?

Yes it will be a manual...apparently the auto J trannies are not that great. Manual is more fun to drive for me plus more upgradable. 😁

I'm very much looking forward to that cam result, that's what I wanted to do eventually as well.😎

Borrowed another crane and got an engine stand for 50 bucks. Pulling the engine out of the Accord next, weather permitting.

I think I found a way to simplify my nitrous set up. Apparently direct port on the J is Not so simple on a stock manifold.

Correction, they sold me a j35a7...the one I was trying to avoid due to less power and VCM. Ugh, it was an hour drive there and back. I'm pretty sure i can return it, just a pain to do so because I have to borrow a truck.

Good news, the j32a3 from the 04-08 Acura TL base is a direct swap with the 07 Accord and it cheaper than the Odyssey engines. Less torque but more hp, score! 270/233 😁 Plus the yard I found it in has 2 to choose from (need to call for price) with free deliver to here. Score!
