EricD's '17 Honda Fit Journey

Since I'm planning on keeping this car for a long time, I thought it'd be a good idea to start my own Fit Journey.

Before and after tint

LED reverse lights!

First car wash

Took out Fit badge and dealership decal

Spend some time with my baby on Valentine's

Thanks for the greetings y'all! Researching the forums on projector retrofit. I tried to see if a LED kit would be OK to use but obviously light was scattered everywhere. So took those off the same night I installed.

Next mods are gonna be mud flaps and wind visors for sure. And in the future vinyl wrap the roof.

Yesterday I helped my friend install yellow fogs and HID on his accord. Looks so nice

Sorry I lied. Got it from Amazon. There are actually these brass thingies that come with it and it works even without attaching the things on the fin. I still attached the fin but it was funny that it still worked. I haven't noticed any lack of radio reception at all.

Ah, wifey has good taste! Very nice! Every Honda fan should at least try to drive/own one of these in their lifetime. There is nothing like the transmission/engine combo in this pinnacle of Honda engineering. Enjoy, and I'm sure you both will!

No new mods but wifey let me take out the NSX. No power steering on it is kind of a pain. Not used to it.

Blinking Brake Light Install

Open this area to expose the wiring.

This is what it should look like when you take out the rubber cover. But if you pull the wires down even more you should see there's another set of wires that shift towards the right going to the third brake light.

There was some sleeves around the teal and black wire and this is what it looks like when the sleeve is removed. I cut the 2 wires and connected the blinking brake light module.

Another pic showing where the wires lead to. Painted in blue is a bunch of wires that go to brake, reverse, turn signal etc. In green is your third brake light wires.

On the module there's an "in" and an "out". Out goes to the brake light and in is coming in from the battery???!? i guess. I've never done wiring before but it was pretty easy to do, just nerve wrecking as hell.

I'm not the best at writing how to's but I hope this helps.
