OT: did you have any trouble innstalling the DEPO rears, did you have to cut wires or anything?

You always have to cut and extend wires when putting in the LED tails. May be different on the European cars but all the USDM cars need extensions.

Thank you for the quick answer, i think the taillights and wires are the same here as with the usdm.

Looking good. You should paint the fog surrounds flat black. The best $5 you will spend on the car.

yea i had to extend the wires. i tried to get away with just pulling them but no luck hahaha its to far and looks near impossible. *looking at the rear* my right side fitment was perfect everything was lined up correctly but my left side is messed up. the bolts are lined up right, clips are in the right slots. I just cant figure out why its not flush. I gotta go back and try it again when i get time.

***here i tried pushing it in and even if i do it wont line up to the bottom of the light***

***here on this side EVERYTHING is perfect.***

btw these were by my iPhone.... not bad

Personally I'd do performance mods first before cosmetic ones. Better to have a car that can walk the walk before it can talk the talk, you know? But to each his own. I'd suggest getting a rear sway bar before going for the STB's.

I'm all for performance mods. It's just that here where I live you really don't see that many Fits. So I just made a few adjustments to make my MR stick out a little. BTW who makes the rear sway bars?? My friend has one on his RSX-S and it handles a lot better.

that my friend is misalignment of ur bumper, not of the taillights. Check to make sure that the clips did not come undone cuz it looks like some bumper clips came out. The taillight is aligned perfectly with the rear quarter panel it's the bumper that's off.

do you have to remove the bumper in order to install the led tail lights? and is there another way to plug the wiring into the light without extending them?

Holy geebus! You brought my old thread back from the dead! But yeah it's just a lot easier to install if you remove it. It's really easy to take off and put on anyway. There's 2 screws on the tips of the bumper and 2 Allen headed screws near the middle once you open the hatch. Then just pull off

edit: oh yeah the wire extension thing. Every ca is different from what I've seen and heard. I extended mine so I don't hav any issues with stretched wires. It's not hard too anyway
