nah i used VHT niteshades, clearcoated it, lots of buffing, and sanding.

NICE! definatly matches with the "trunk handle", kinda makes me thinks its part of the body lol scary to have it that dark, no light to pass though but hey i see it

at night the blinkers will still be able to be seen. reverse lights should be fine, i couldnt take pics of it cuz the car is manual.

i went to that site and read the tut, i wanna do it too!!!! how much did all the euiqment cost you? and was there anything that you already had?

I yank the hand brake to check my reverse lights, doesnt move at all, i have AT but maybe you can do the same?

+ rep for getting me hooked into this lol

a MT would stall if i did. and it prolly cost me about 40-50 bux or so
to buy all the niteshades and rubbing compound, wax, clearcoat, and plastx

put car in reverse with engine off

My car is MT too. Just turn the key to the position right before the ignition position. Than you can put it in rever to see the reverse lights. I found that out over the weekend, and i did that to test my JDM taillight install

*edit* i forgot to mention that the taillights look gangster btw! So is the process permanent?

Nice dude but way too dark imo. Cops around here would bust that ass quicker then you could pull over for them.

A nice light tint on them would be bang on.

ill just risk it its just a fix it ticket. plus my old car was just as dark for 3 years and nothing happened, even with cops on my ass, the whole taillight was tinted too, atleast with the fit only the signal and reverse light is smoked not the brake light

looks 10x better than before man. I never did like the GE's stock tail lamps.
