Wish the moldings were 15 inches longer to cover the fender and the rest of the driver and passenger side doors.

I believe that it is because the mirrors over that panel would obstruct any doors of other vehicles from making contact with the area below.

Lipappy,

Is the rear applique the OEM one offered by Honda? Somehow it looks different to me. I've contemplated putting one on, but I really like the clean look without it.

Yes, the rear bumper applique, and everthing I had added for that matter, were OEM. It's a matte black, and I find that it suits the whole red and black thing I have going on anyway. I can also understand wanting a clean look, but consider that it may not look so clean when loading something into the back and scratching up the top of your bumper.

I absolutely LOVE the door sill garnish... I wish I could shell out the cash to get it for my car because I think it looks really nice but I just can't convince myself that it's worth it

Looks great though! Great pics

Thanks, Desolate. Yeah, I went into the car buying experience with the advice to forego the add-ons, because that's where they stick you, and while I realize they did make some money off of me there, I rationalized that at least I wasn't doing it simply for looks - that the things I added would help protect the car from dings and scratches. But the fact they look good too is an added bonus. Apparently I was the first person at that dealership to go "all out" with the options, b/c the contractor who installed my door moldings said it was the first time he had seen door moldings for the Fit, and didn't even know they made them, but thought they looked nice as he was installing them.

Lipappy - I'd get the all season mat. Not because of looks, but because they definitely help aid in not shocking you when you leave your car. It is notorious for the Fits to always get shocked when closing the door. I have the all season mats and I never get shocked at all.

Because my sister only gave me 3 of the 4 moldings, I took two separate days to put them onto my Fit. 4 days after the first 3 were put on, someone put a big chip into one strip with their door. And when I finally added the second one, someone put a dent into that one 3 days later as well.

I know that these moldings are for protecting the doors from getting the dents and chips directly but I was still very annoyed that they were put to such use so soon! :P
