The "family-friendly" Drop Thread!

I know there have been a lot of threads for different types of springs/coils. I would like to start a thread for the sole purpose of the "Family-Friendly" ride quality. I personally would like to lower the car but not have to worry about the bumpy harsh ride. I would love to retain the stock ride quality if possible. In this thread please state:

1) Company name and model of spring or coil
2) Price
3) Where to get
4) Ride Quality.
5) Drop in inches.
6) Pics if possible
7) Tire/rim size
8) Rubbing issue?

I hope we can make this thread as beneificial as the other ones on this forum. Thanks!:D

DF210's. 154 shipped.

had my in-laws and they did not complain of any stiffness... ran 36psi.
had just me and my son in the car, he liked it.

drop is nice and low(but not stupid low), stiffer than stock but pretty
comfy for the most part running high tire pressure. 195/50/15's.

Probably weren't installed right. Did you do it your self or took it to a shop?

Previc93 05-25-2008 01:58 AM

all of the dashes rattle. mine rattles i dont have any suspension. my friends rattles too. i took it in for warranty and like idiots they told me that it was stuff in my glove box. so i cleaned my car of everything and it still does it. dealerships suck.

solbrothers 05-25-2008 01:59 AM

some fits have that issue. mine doesn't rattle, but if it did, i'd just turn my radio up LOL

zRollerskate 05-25-2008 02:23 AM

mine dosent rattle either... car and driver was talking about a "violent" rattle of the shift knob in 2ng gear decelerating. but i have yet to see that also.

i like your set up man, i also have a base nhbp but im still a a 'learner' or noob lol. anyway besides getting the springs, did you get anything else to lower the car? would this void the warranty in any way??

Kyle is raaddd 07-30-2008 03:30 AM

hey xxgotfit?xx, if you have the base, and you're willing to spend the money, buy a lip kit. that makes it looks SOO much lower.

i'm just waiting for sam to come in here bustin on the Tanabe's,
i love it haha!

Fitcapo 07-30-2008 03:34 AM

that isn't his car I don't think it is from their web site. well it is the fit from their web site don't know if it is his or not.

well actually im on a budget lol.. you know college.. but uhh well it would depend on how much the lip kit would cost.. and when Sam comes in i'll be gettin me Rims!! lolz..

Kyle is raaddd 07-30-2008 03:47 AM

haha
i actually got that joke!
nice.

haha
i'm not really sure how much a fit sport lip kit would run you for.
best bet would be to ask britt
she used to have a base, but not really anymore :p
