The "family-friendly" Drop Thread!
I know there have been a lot of threads for different types of springs/coils. I would like to start a thread for the sole purpose of the "Family-Friendly" ride quality. I personally would like to lower the car but not have to worry about the bumpy harsh ride. I would love to retain the stock ride quality if possible. In this thread please state:
1) Company name and model of spring or coil 2) Price 3) Where to get 4) Ride Quality. 5) Drop in inches. 6) Pics if possible 7) Tire/rim size 8) Rubbing issue? I hope we can make this thread as beneificial as the other ones on this forum. Thanks!:D |
1. skunk2 springs
2. $120 SHIPPED from a vendor on HT 3. many shops can get these springs 4. very close to stock. i drove the family to church on christmas, with gifts in the back, and didn't get any complaints on the ride quality 5. 1.8 in the front, 1.2 in the rear *iirc* 6. http://i112.photobucket.com/albums/n...sol/new1-1.jpg http://i112.photobucket.com/albums/n...sol/new1-2.jpg http://i112.photobucket.com/albums/n...elsol/new2.jpg 7. the first two pics are of 15" steelies. the other picture is of 14" del sol rims 8. absolutely no rubbing. ... other than the rubbing from the front lip when i try to go in a driveway lolz |

all of the dashes rattle. mine rattles i dont have any suspension. my friends rattles too. i took it in for warranty and like idiots they told me that it was stuff in my glove box. so i cleaned my car of everything and it still does it. dealerships suck.
|
some fits have that issue. mine doesn't rattle, but if it did, i'd just turn my radio up LOL
|
mine dosent rattle either... car and driver was talking about a "violent" rattle of the shift knob in 2ng gear decelerating. but i have yet to see that also.
