Break in ride quality

Okay, first off, we love our new FIT. Its fast and responsive and the heater in the car warms up very quickly(great for winters here in Minnesota). Only complaint thus far, the ride is very stiff. Dealer says that it should smooth out a little once the shocks break in. Is this true?

i dont think so. I havent noticed a smoother ride since i purchased new. Your best bet is to purchase softer tires (taller sidewall).

Not thats not true from what ive noticed. The springs stayed about the same for 8000miles. If you think those are stiff dont even think about after market springs, i just put some on and it even stiffer.

check your tire pressure. could be that the dealer over inflated it by accident....

should be 32-33psi cold.

Honda Fit

Is everyone else also noticing a choppy ride to their FIT?

Yea I have about 3,000 miles on the fit and my springs have not real changed, al though MN road real do suck. The freeways here realy suck the most.

Fit in Minnesota

we are in Minnesota also. Due to the cold winters back roads here are very rough and the FIT seems to not take to them very well. I am wondering if different tires would be a good idea?
