Tokico HP's

Looking to see if these will work well with the Skunk2 Lowering Springs. I have already searched and did not get a straight up confirmed answer.

I am looking to install these before I buy new tires and I do need tires soon. If someone can let me know, thanks.

Yes, Tokico HP shocks will work with the Skunk2 springs. Keep in mind that Tokico HPs are meant to be used at stock replacements, not for performance. They won't last too long when lowered. I recommend the Tokico Illumina or the Koni Sport (Yellow).

Thanks, that is what I was looking for. I wanted something that was meant to be used with lowering springs.

JDMxGE8,

I am curious to know your experience with Tokico products? From my personal experience, I've owned a few sets of Tokico "Blues" on different cars over the years and have found them to be much more then just an OEM replacement. They are designed to fit as an OEM product, but clearly have a much different dampening characteristic than OEM, and when matched with a sport or race spring, they can really make your car feel nice and tight in the twisty's. Tokico Illumina's are a step up in that you have adjustable dampening, allowing some of us weekend racers to kick ass at the track, then drive home comfortably. Buddies of mine still have cars with sets of Tokico HP's that are over five years old, with no problems at all. I just wanted to provide my two cents on the subject.
