Tokico's HP Opinion
Hi guys. I have a Honda Fit 06 with eibach pro kit and oem shocks, but the shocks died. I feel my car with a lot of bouncy. I want to buy new shocks, i was read in a lot of forums about Tokico and a lot of people say they are good, other say that make the car with big bouncy. Any Idea if muy car will be soft with Tokico or another shocks that you suggest, i have only $400 for the shocks, and i am from Mexico so i have to pay $300 for shipping. And if not Tokico what other suggestion for a Eibach Pro Kit. I use my car for a travel and family, but i want the handled of sport car and the ride of a luxury car
THANKS |
Tokico HP are no better than stock.
Get their D-Specs. A bit more expensive (I know your budget) but still...don't get the HP. I would just get stock Honda shocks then. |

You might try checking on shox.com to see what their shipping to MEX would be. They appear to have the best price on the HTS (D-SPEC) shocks at least as far as I've seen.

Hi, well the D-spec can't found in any place, neither shox.com, but with monroe in the other post, i see that i have to do adaptations to put the monreo air to honda fit, because they are from cavalier. I'm Right?

you may also want to try T1R Dampers. i think they're about $500 before shipping, and they are also adjustable.

Go with the T1R S-Spec Dampers they have the adjustibility for granny 'cloud riding' or spirited sweeper cornering. :D |
I see the T1R Dampers, only i have a question, because is a lot of money $500 and $330 shipping. This Shocks are adjustable, but when they are adjustable you can make it softly and harly, or like oem and hardly. Because i am using the Eibach Pro Kit and they are really hard, so i want a softly driving. When you drive my car, is like you ride a Horse, it's horrible. I need urgently the shocks
THANKS |
It would be $565+$85 S&H for me ($652) they really overcharge for mexico!
|
Thanks, i am looking into t1r dampes, but i need to save more money for that. I guess is the best option
THANKS |
yes get the T1R dampers. ive had it since november and i'm satisfied.

Hi, guys, me again, finally i found the t1r dampers in best price on
T1R S-Spec Dampers 2007-2008 Honda Fit (GD3) - P/N: 51600-GD3-SD the shipping is about $110 for mexico but another people say to me, that it's better kyb, what do you think. I wil buy the t1r because i see on the forum a lot of good references about t1r, but i don't heard about kyb. And another question does i have to remove my rear panel to change the shock, because i change my trunk. I put a subwoofer on the right side and a capacitor on the left, so i can't access to my shock by the trunk THANKS |
