what set of coilovers should i get?

I need opinions on coilovers people...I like it low yet with some kind of comfort in the ride...any suggestions?

Already tried out the Megans and in my opinion nobody should get those! They are a good drop but too damn stiff...

My choices so far are the tein basics, ksports, or skunk2s(too pricy!)

Kurse 06-11-2009 07:03 AM

skunk2 are great, k sport look not bad but they are made in taiwan and tein are not ajustable in damper.

Save your money and get the skunk2. You can look too for the buddyclub, cusco, ohlins.
They are all great!

i have k sports and i love them they ride just like skunk2 to me and they arent as expensive!

keepitpg 06-11-2009 10:33 AM

get d2's on hopupracing.com for $812 shipped. thats the best deal out there IMO

RickyDicky817 06-11-2009 10:56 AM

how's the ride on the d2's though....cuz thats the same price as the megans and i hated them...to stiff for my cup of tea...

keepitpg 06-11-2009 10:57 AM

idk.. i havent heard anything bad about them

GD3_Wagoon 06-11-2009 02:32 PM

just a suggestion, base your decision on the application.

skunk2 pro-c's for a stiff daily and moderate togue/track use or enduratech for a comfy daily driver and mild togue/track as an example. it'll be a much easier decision once you've decided how your Fit will be used :)

i run enduratechs. very comfy for dd. :) i can drive over R/R crossings faster than stock. :D
and lowered like 1.5"

Fitftw 06-11-2009 05:51 PM

skunk2 if you have the money for them, they seem to be able to do everything.

if you're on a budget i'd get the D2 coilovers, they're pretty nice.

RickyDicky817 06-11-2009 07:12 PM

eh....enduratechs dont have a good enough drop...i guess im lookin at the d2s are ksports then....

Kurse 06-11-2009 08:09 PM

eww.. d2 are china shit stuff..
you should get the buddyclub for the similar price of the ksport

RickyDicky817 06-13-2009 01:49 AM

sooo where can i find the cheapest ksports shipped

i would def. stay away from the D2's... it will only last at least 3 months seen happen twice on 2 different Fits.

nxtfit_08 06-13-2009 09:24 PM

good choice my friend you will like them:) i love mine!!!

RickyDicky817 06-16-2009 09:34 PM
